Graystone Manor Kitchen Reveal

Over the last year this beautiful home was purchased by Christy and Jon Denney.  You may know Christy from her food blog, “The Girl Who Ate Everything”.  She does an amazing job of creating family friendly recipes that can be made in a short amount of time.  We were very excited for the opportunity to work with her and her husband Jon on their new home.  They are very down to earth and easy going which made for a fun and collaborative project.  As you can see in the photos we had a great foundation to start with. Caitlyn Creer Interiors originally designed this home. She did such a beautiful job creating a timeless design, that we didn’t want nor need to change any of the finishes.  We used those colors as a base and then added in the coastal warm vibes we wanted for this family. For furnishings we selected beautiful custom counter stools in two varieties to add warmth and contrast to the space, not to mention a little bit of personality.  Then we came in and layered it up with beautiful accessories around the kitchen. Glazed porcelain, glass, brass and wood accents mix together well for a balanced aesthetic. Now Christy has a great backdrop to show off any of her new or old amazing recipes with ease.

We love to show you a bit of our process.  This is how we envisioned the kitchen and dining room before we made final decisions.

We source accessories from many places.  Some we used here are from our warehouse stash, Gatehouse No 1, Mcgee and Co, Sun River Gardens and Highland Gardens.
